SUMMARY OF DUTIES: We're looking talent that has hands-on experience in a CNC Service Technician role for a job shop/manufacturing position.
MUST HAVE 3+ years of experience performing maintenance, installations, tear-down, etc of CNC machines (mills and lathes).
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain controls is valuable as we need technicians to troubleshoot/update CNC controls.
The responsibilities include conducting preventative maintenance, break/fix repairs, diagnostic & troubleshooting problems, assist with new machine installations, etc.
Must be a team player who will pitch-in to help in all areas as needed.
Must be able to drive a forklift and operate an overhead crane.
Must have a positive/strong work ethic.
Must have their own tools.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: FUNCTION: Inspect castings, forgings (raw state), fabrications, assemblies and machined work pieces at inspection, assembly or machining work centers for conformance to specifications, blueprints, using standard measuring devices, formulas, shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Reads and analyzes blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information, such as specified material, surface finish, and dimensions. • Computes angles, radii, and other unspecified dimensions of work piece using algebra, geometry and trigonometry. • Measures dimensions, such as length, height, distance and angles using standard and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, V-blocks, sine bars, calipers, dial indicators, angle plates, snap gauge, gauge blocks, height gage, level protractors, optical comparators, bore gages, ultrasonic equipment, profilometer, FARO Laser tracker, and FARO Arm’s.
EDUCATION LEVEL: • High School Diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of QC inspection experience is required. Experience with FARO arm/laser is required CAD experience is a plus. CMM experience is a plus. Good knowledge of inspection methods, procedures, equipment , and layouts. Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT) concepts and have the ability to interpret these basic concepts.
Machinist background is a plus.
